Daniel Regincós. Violoncello

After an initial Montserratina training in singing, piano and cello, the study of the cello, with Josep Charco, continues.

In 1989 he joined the Empordà Chamber Orchestra. A year later, the Ministry of Culture awarded him a scholarship to study at the Hogeschool voor de Kunsten, in Utrecht (Holland), with Professor Elias Arizcuren and with the assistant and teacher of pedagogy Lenian Benjamins, obtaining in 1994 the Dutch higher degree.

From 1994 to 96, thanks to the aid of the Pau Casals Foundation and the Generalitat, he continued his studies at the Malmö Conservatory (Sweden) with Mats Rondin.

Having had the opportunity to receive Masterclasses from prestigious teachers such as Henrich Shiff, William Pleeth, Dimitri Ferschman, Tim Hugh, Radu Aldulescu, Peter Wispelwey, Philipe Muller, Jaap ter Linden

He specializes in playing the Baroque cello in Toulouse (France) with Alain Gervreau and at ESMUC (Barcelona) with Bruno Cocset.

He is currently a teacher at the Banyoles School of Music.

He is part of the Girona Orchestra, the Sextet Gerió and the Baroque Trio of coffee.
