BIOGRAPHY
Andrea Mameli. Viola
Born on January 1971 in Palermo (Italy). He begins his musical studies of violin and piano at the age of 6, studies which will continue at the Giovanni Pierluigi Conservatory of Palestrina de Cagliari (Italy) cursing viola studies with the Professor Luigi Moccia, obtaining in 1987, the Superior title of Viola. Successively he participates in numerous Viola Improvement Courses led by illustrious Viola Masters, of international prestige such as: Bruno Giuranna, Danilo Rossi, Youri Baschmet.
Orchestral Experiences:
-Lirico di Cagliari Theater Orchestra.
-Regionale della Sardegna Orchestra.
-Teatro dell’Opera di Bari Orchestra.
-Orchestra of Camera S. Marco di Venezia.
-Bari Orchestra.
-Girona Orchestra.
He has participated in tours in countries such as: Italy, Portugal, Spain, France, Germany, Switzerland, Greece, U.S.A., with operatic and symphonic repertoire.
Also he has acted as Viola Soloist with the following works: Symphony Concertante by W.A. Mozart, Concerto in C min J. C. Bach, Concerto in G Maj. G.P. Telemann, Trauermusik by P. Hindemith, the latter recorded for Catalunya Música.
Currently he shares the chamber music activity with the didactic and pedagogical as Violin and Viola teacher, at the Montessori Palau School in Girona, Nuestro Hogar School of Banyoles and the Municipal School of Music Ateneu, Banyoles.
