Vladimír Kunça. Violin

Born in 1971 in Michalovce (Slovakia), where he began his studies at the early age of 5 years. Later he expanded them at the Kosice Conservatory and the Bratislava Higher School of Fine Arts with the prestigious professors J. Pazdera, O. Martirosov and E. Danel (current concertmaster of the Bratislava Philharmonic Orchestra).             

Already during his studies he is part of several orchestras in his country: Bratislava Chamber Opera Orchestra, Zilina Chamber Orchestra and Bratislava Soloists, with which he performs throughout Europe and Japan.

In 1998 he moved to Catalonia where he is part of the Girona Orchestra of which he is currently the concertmaster. With the same orchestra he has performed several times as a soloist (Vivaldi, Mozart, Montsalvatge) and has premiered works such as Pueyo.

In addition to classical music groups, he is part of the Sextet Gerió and a jazz music trio. He collaborates in flamenco music groups and participates as 1st violin of the Tellus Ensemble in the premieres of modern and contemporary music.

Simultaneously sharing all those mentioned, with teaching at the Aula Musical school in Girona.
