Joan Sadurní Brugué. Piano

Member of a family of musicians, he studied at the Girona Conservatory and at The Liceo de Barcelona. As a young man he cultivates various musical styles. For years he participates in educational recitals to the educational centers run by JJMM and collaborates with various Girona musical entities. Professor in the specialty of piano and musical language at the Municipal School of Music of Girona from where he performs pedagogical work in the field of didactic composition and currently professor of piano, accompaniment and repertoire at the Isaac Albéniz Conservatory of Girona.

He alternates teaching with that of a regular accompanist for singers and other instrumentalists, as well as different chamber formations and throughout his career as a musician he has performed concerts throughout Catalonia. With the Quartet Gerió he has recorded an album with music by Astor Piazzolla.

He works as an arranger for the OCE and other commissions, such as the musical adaptation of My Name Is Satie, like everyone else. Occasional composer, he has set the poetry collection El otro Libro de las Bestias, by Salvador Sunyer.
